Il laghetto si trova all'interno della Foresta Umbra, nel Gargano, in provincia di Foggia.
La Foresta Umbra (Umbra significa "all'ombra") è tra le dieci foreste più belle d'Europa ed è sito UNESCO.
È un posto bellissimo per fare una passeggiata rilassante, tra gli odori del sottobosco ed i tronchi imponenti.
Costellata da aree picnic ben tenute e da tanti percorsi da fare a piedi o anche, per chi è allenato, in mountain bike.
Ci si può trascorrere una bella giornata immersi nella natura, anche per sfuggire alla calura estiva.
Nel lago ci sono carpe, pesci gatto, tartarughe e rospi, uno spettacolo per i bambini!
Nelle immediate vicinanze, in alcuni recinti, ci sono anche daini che si avvicinano senza paura per mangiare un pò di erba dalla vostra mano.
La natura è uno spettacolo da non perdere!
Nelle vicinanze ci sono una trattoria e un rifugio: contattali telefonicamente se volete prenotare un pasto o un pernottamento.

The small lake is located within the Umbra Forest, in the Gargano, in the province of Foggia.

It is a beautiful place to take a relaxing walk, among the smells of the undergrowth and imposing trees.
There are several well-kept picnic areas nearby and many routes to follow on foot or even, for those who are fit, by mountain bike.
You can spend a beautiful day immersed in nature, also to escape the summer heat.
In the lake there are carp, catfish, turtles and toads, a spectacle for children!
In the immediate vicinity, in some enclosures, there are also deer who approach without fear to eat some grass from your hand.
Nature is a spectacle not to be missed!
Nearby there is a restaurant and a refuge: contact them by phone if you want to book a meal or an overnight stay.
ATTENTION: both the GPS signal and the telephone line are poor due to the vegetation and the topography of the terrain, so plan accordingly. Take the given coordinates with the right "elasticity".
