Join Olympia Surfrider for
World Water Day
Friday, March 22nd 5:30-6:30pm
Olympia City Hall
601 4th Ave E
World Water Day is a United Nations (UN) observance coordinated by UN-Water.
The Surfrider Foundation is dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world's ocean, waves, and beaches, for all people,
Let's help protect the South Sound by joining the Olympia Surfrider Chapter for their monthly cigarette butt cleanup through the streets of downtown Olympia.
We'll meet at the steps of Olympia City Hall to check in, sign the waiver, get pickers, buckets, counters, and then head off on different routes. We'll have printed wavers, but if you have a chance, please sign the online waver in advance here: https://volunteer.surfrider.org/timeslots/IsHEbJjKRB
And, yes, it's butts only, not a general clean up.
We'll do our part to clean up the Geocaching game board known as Planet Earth and earn the CITO Season 1 souvenir.
