VILLA NIGRA
Fu costruita nel 1500 dalla ricca famiglia Martelli di Miasino e ampliata tra fine '600 e inizio '700. Fu venduta nel 1857 ai Nigra, originari di Sartirana Lomellina, che vi risiedettero fino al 1980.
L'edificio passò all'Università di Torino ma rimase poi abbandonato fino al 2004, quando il Comune di Miasino ne acquistò la proprietà e ne iniziò la ristrutturazione.
Riconosciuto il valore storico-architettonico dell'edificio, sono previsti ulteriori interventi di recupero con il sostegno della Regione, Provincia, Ministero dei Beni Culturali e altri Enti.
Attualmente il parco è pubblico e di libero accesso, una parte della villa è adibita a ristorante-bar, le altre sale aperte per eventi, mostre e manifestazioni.
VILLA NIGRA
It was built in 1500 by the Martelli family of Miasino and extended between the end of the 1600s and the beginning of the 18th century.
In 1857 it was sold to the Nigra family, who lived there until 1980.
Then Villa Nigra was abandoned until 2004, when the Municipality of Miasino bought it and began its renovation.
Given its historical and artistic value, further recovery actions are planned by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, the Province and the Region.
Currently the entrance to the park is free, part of the Villa is used as a restaurant, the other rooms are open for events and exhibitions.
