P.R.E Event - Well it is PRE Easter but also its being held at "Palmers Rough" so put them together to get "Palmers Rough Easter Event" or P.R.E Event.
A simple Outdoor Event for a catch up in a lovely location, In the heart of Shirley, hidden away a short distance from the main Stratford Road is "Palmers Rough Local Nature Reserve". An 18 acre LNR mentioned in the Doomsday Book & now managed by the Woodland Trust. It comprises of 2 Mixed Broadleaf Woodlands seperated by an area of open grassland, a public play area (Northbrook Park) & a Public Car Park where the Event will be held. Everyone is Welcome. There are No Toilet Facilities.
Hopefully a limited amount of refreshments will be on hand both liquid & cake whilst we put the world to rights through the medium of chat.
DUE TO THE SIZE OF THE CAR PARK, LIMITS ON PROVISIONS & TO RESPECT THE LOCALS - THIS EVENT WILL BE LIMITED TO 24 ATTENDEES, INCLUDING OURSELVES. APPOLOGIES IN ADVANCE IF YOU MISS THE CUT, WE WILL POST A NOTE WHEN EVENT FULL - PLEASE RESPECT THIS NOTE & DONT JUST TURN UP - THANK YOU.
There is No Wet Weather Provision at the Location.
Due to the LNR Status of the area, the available spots already hold a cache - GC7JRPT & GC1G2HE it is therefore unlikley we will be able to fit any new caches in closeby for the Event.
As with All our Events there will probably be a nice little surprise for anyone who Logs an Attend in Advance of the Day (i.e. at least a couple of days before) & then actually turns up during the Event.
