In his efforts to protect young Princess Leia, Jedi Obi-Wan was able to sneak her off of Daiyu and brought her to Mapuzo. It was once a lush planet full of life before Galactic Empire took over and made it a mining planet. Now it's just the barren wasteland you see before you.
