Über ganz Deutschland verteilt leben die Erdzwerge. Meist sind sie damit beschäftigt, Gesteine zu untersuchen, Kristalle zu sammeln und geologische Geheimnisse zu bewahren.
Doch von Zeit zu Zeit folgt jeder von ihnen dem Ruf des Zwergenthrons.
Dann treffen sie sich im Museumspark Rüdersdorf, schmieden neue Ideen, tauschen Geschichten aus und bereiten gemeinsam ein Fest vor, zu dem sie alle herzlich einladen.
Dieses Mal haben sich die Erdzwerge etwas ganz Besonderes ausgedacht:
The Rock Games!
SteinZeit Disziplinen.
Knifflige Herausforderungen.
Geologische Entdeckungen und Überraschungen.
Verbunden mit einer odentlichen Portion Erdzwergen-Humor.
Der Museumspark wird zum Treffpunkt aller die Geocaching, Geologie und außergewöhnliche Erlebnisse sowie jede Menge Spaß lieben.
Zwischen historischen Industrieanlagen, spannenden Ausstellungen und beeindruckenden Gesteinsformationen haben die Erdzwerge über den gesamten Park verteilt steinzeitliche Disziplinen, geologische Überraschungen und viele Mitmachaktionen vorbereitet.
Natürlich wären es keine Erdzwerge, wenn sich nicht vieles auch um Geologie drehen würde. Gemeinsam zeigen die Erdzwerge euch die geologischen Besonderheiten des Museumsparks, erklären die Entstehung der Gesteine und EarthCaches vor Ort.
Ganz gleich, ob ihr euren ersten EarthCache besucht oder bereits Hunderte geloggt habt – die Erdzwerge haben garantiert noch die eine oder andere Geschichte auf Lager.
Was erwartet euch noch?
Unter anderem sind geplant:

- ⛏️ Führungen und Erklärungen durch unsere Erdzwerge
- 🚇 Besichtigungen des Heinitztunnels
- 💎 der Geologenverein mit faszinierenden Mineralien und Fossilien
- 🛍️ Händlermeile in der historischen Schachtofenbatterie
- 🪙 große Geocoin-Ausstellung
- ☕ viel Zeit zum Fachsimpeln, Klönen und Wiedersehen mit alten und neuen Freunden
Noch sind nicht alle Disziplinen der Rock-Games bekannt, nicht alle neuen Caches veröffentlicht und längst nicht alle Überraschungen ausgepackt.
Doch eines steht bereits fest: Am Zwergenthron werden sich die Erdzwerge versammeln – und sie hoffen, dort auch viele bekannte und neue Gesichter begrüßen zu dürfen.

⛏️🪨 Stone Age with the Earth Dwarves – The Rock Games 🪨⛏️
“When the Earth Dwarves put down their hammers and gather at the Dwarf Throne, something special is afoot...”
The Earth Dwarves live all across Germany. Most of the time, they’re busy examining rocks, collecting crystals, and guarding geological secrets.
But from time to time, each of them answers the call of the Dwarf Throne.
Then they meet at the Rüdersdorf Museum Park, come up with new ideas, share stories, and work together to prepare a festival to which they cordially invite everyone.
This time, the Earth Dwarves have come up with something very special:
The Rock Games!
Stone Age disciplines.
Tricky challenges.
Geological discoveries and surprises.
All combined with a healthy dose of Earth Dwarf humor.
The Museum Park is set to become a gathering place for everyone who loves geocaching, geology, extraordinary experiences, and lots of fun.
Amid historic industrial sites, exciting exhibits, and impressive rock formations, the Earth Dwarves have set up Stone Age challenges, geological surprises, and plenty of hands-on activities throughout the park.
Of course, they wouldn’t be the “Earth Dwarves” if a lot of it didn’t revolve around geology. Together, the Earth Dwarves will show you the geological highlights of the museum park and explain how the rocks were formed, as well as the EarthCaches on site.
Whether you’re visiting your first EarthCache or have already logged hundreds—the Earth Dwarves are sure to have a story or two up their sleeves.

Not all Rock-Games disciplines have been revealed yet, not all new caches have been published, and by no means have all the surprises been revealed.
But one thing is already certain: The Earth Dwarves will gather at the Dwarf Throne—and they hope to welcome many familiar and new faces there.
So be sure to log your “Will Attend” now. That way, you’ll receive all announcements about the program, competitions, new caches, and other activities.
