Cyprus
is the third largest island in the eastern Mediterranean Sea, which
is geographically assigned to Asia but politically and culturally
mostly assigned to Europe. The island is politically divided since
1974. The southern part of Cyprus is ruled by the Greek Republic of
Cyprus. Northern Cyprus is under the control of the Turkish Republic
of Northern Cyprus, which is only recognized by Turkey.
Cape
Greco is the most eastern point of the Republic of Cyprus. The
national park is located on a headland and offers 385 hectares of
almost untouched, typical Mediterranean landscape with approximately
400 different plants, many mammals, reptiles and countless birds. At
the very top of the limestone cliffs of Cape Greco table mountain
there is a viewpoint, a Peace Monument sculpture and a little more
north a military base. One has a spectacular view over the coast with
the rugged rocky formations and the crystal clear sea as well as the
lighthouse.
To
commemorate our Cyprus vacation, we hid a little box in this charming
environment.
The
logbook records all visitors with an entry and by means of a stamp.
You receive proof of your visit with the stamp in your personal
logbook.
You
should have a personal stamp for your registration, but you can also
leave a sticker or another personal logging option.
There
is a letterbox stamp in the pen, but it has to stay there!

Zypern
ist die drittgrößte Insel im östlichen Mittelmeer,
die geographisch Asien, politisch und kulturell jedoch meist Europa
zugeordnet wird. Die Insel ist seit 1974 politisch geteilt. Das
südliche Zypern wird von der griechischen Republik Zypern
beherrscht. Das nördliche Zypern steht unter der Kontrolle der
Türkischen Republik Nordzypern, welche nur von der Türkei
anerkannt wird.
Das
Capo Greco ist der östlichste Punkt der Republik Zypern. Der
Nationalpark liegt auf einer Landzunge und bietet auf 385 Hektar
nahezu unberührte, typische Mittelmeerlandschaft mit etwa 400
unterschiedlichen Pflanzen, vielen Säugetieren, Reptilien sowie
unzähligen Vögeln. Ganz oben auf den Kalksteinklippen des
Tafelberges von Cap Greco befindet sich ein Aussichtspunkt, eine
Friedensmonumentskulptur und etwas nördlich eine Militärbasis.
Man hat einen spektakulären Ausblick über die Küste
mit den schroffen Felsformationen und das kristallklare Meer sowie
den Leuchtturm.
Zur
Erinnerung an unseren Zypern-Urlaub haben wir ein Döschen in
dieser reizvollen Umgebung versteckt.
Das
Logbuch zeichnet alle Besucher durch einen Eintrag und einen Stempel
auf und ihr erhaltet durch den Stempel in eurem persönlichen
Logbuch einen Nachweis eures Besuches.
Ihr
benötigt einen persönlichen Stempel zum ins Logbuch
stempeln oder ihr könnt auch einen Aufkleber oder eine andere
ganz persönliche Logmöglichkeiten im Logbuch hinterlassen.
Es
ist ein Letterboxstempel im Stift vorhanden, der da aber auch bleiben
muss!
