This geocache is located near Warnervale a town on the bustly Central Coast.
Warnervale was named after Albert Hamlyn Warner who in 1893 acquired 12,000 acres in the area. Both his and his families travels abroad influenced the road names in surrounding suburbs such as Minnesota, Virginia, Louisiana, Hiawatha and Nikko.
In 1998 Warnervale was divided creating Halloran, Wallarah, Woongarrah and Hamlyn Terrace.
This area which was once large acreages and wetlands is now made up of many residential estates. With future planning for a bustling Warnervale Precinct.
Matthew McConaughey lived in Warnervale for a short period in 1988-89.
