On April 8, 2024, a spectacular and rare celestial event is set to unfold over Canada – a total solar eclipse. As the Moon aligns perfectly between Earth and the Sun, darkness will sweep across parts of the country, captivating countless spectators. So everywhere you go along the projected centreline of the Sun's path, there will be millions of people crowding around to see this event.

I don't like crowds. So I've decided to find a place with very little people around to watch this event. Come to the posted coords to join a small group of people to watch the ALMOST Total Solar Eclipse. This event will NOT be a total solar eclipse but close enough. About 98.634 % eclipse and will last about 2 minutes or less. Then the moon and sun will move apart.
We will gather at the end of the Queensville Carpool parking lot (east side) at 3:00 PM and set-up chairs, your BYOB and your safety glasses (NASA APPROVED GLASSES) and lets observe and chat while the Sun and Moon do their thing.
