The Great American Trash Out - CITO, Season One Cache In Trash Out® Event

This cache has been archived.

bethie_biker: Thanks to our hosts at the Hamilton County State Fish & Wildlife Area and Randy Hodges from Community Observatory for providing us with a beautiful spot to observe the Great American Eclipse! Thanks also to all the Geocachers who were good stewards of the Earth and made this the "easiest CITO ever"! We can all hope for (work toward) a day when we go caching and this is our usual experience rather than a happy surprise.

Geocache Description:

08 April 2024, 15:45 - 17:00

Our Geocaching gameboard needs your help!  After the thrill of witnessing the 2024 Total Solar Eclipse, our focus can return to Earth.

Before leaving on your trek home or to the next Geocache, we will meet again.  The Hamilton County State Fish & Wildlife Area and Youth Group Camp could need our help recovering.  Meet us at 3:45 PM at the coordinates to sign in, win some fun stuff, pick up bags, and then head out at 4 PM to clean up.  Be sure to bring your gloves and insect repellent and wear bright clothes if you plan to pick up trash along the road.  We'll meet back at 5 PM to collect all the bags.
