I came out to state game land #297 to check on some caches as a DNF log stated that some clearing had taken place, but luckily, the caches were both fine. Of course, this meant that I had a couple of cache containers with me and I now needed to find a new place to hide them. As I walked, i came to an area where clearing had taken place and there, there in the middle of the clearing, they left a stump that just called out for a cache!
Fate I tell you, fate!
In this stump that was left, of course for a geocache, you will find a small peanut butter jar with a red lid.
This cache can be found in state game land #297, so please be careful and be sure to wear ORANGE during hunting season. You can park at the listed parking coordinates and head up the grassy slope. This parking location can fit several cars. There are several caches along the route to this one and a couple more after it. Enjoy your walk. Keep in mind this is a game land cache and at certain times of year the grassy path might be a little higher and at other times it can be really muddy, so be sure to dress accordingly and try to pick the best PA season to find this.
