Hope you enjoy getting to see a more rural part of Hardeman county. This is a nice and peaceful place. Take a look all around you. You are standing in the path of damage from an EF-2 tornado that moved through here on March 31st, 2023. Fortunately this tornado did not produce any injuries or fatalities.
Another storm produced a seperate tornado in the eastern part of the county a few hours later and stayed on the ground for more than 80 miles. The town of Adamsville in nearby McNairy county suffered a lot of damage, as well as other areas. As time moves on, the damage here will begin to fade and be less pronounced. Just a way of seeing how nature works in this big world! Enjoy the time here in the country.
