V roce 2024 slavíme 100 let od vzniku první britské červené telefonní budky. Odhaduje se, že v letech 1926 až 1935 bylo v Londýně postaveno 1 500 až 1 700 Scottových telefonních budek K2. Zhruba dvě stovky z nich existují dodnes a organizace English Heritage jim udělila status památky 2. stupně.
