Wir haben Grund zu feiern! 

Geocaching feiert 2025 seinen 25. Geburtstag: Am 3. Mai 2000 wurde der erste Geocache versteckt, im September 2000 ging die Webseite online. Und es gibt noch mehr Grund zum Feiern: Unsere beliebte Eventserie “Bier, Burg und Brodwörscht” - besser bekannt als “BBB” - feiert ihre 100. Ausgabe und ihr 20-jähriges Bestehen. 

Zur großen Feier laden wir euch ganz herzlich nach Kulmbach in die “heimliche Hauptstadt des Bieres” ein. Hier dreht sich am 21. Juni 2025 alles um das Thema “Bier, Burg, und Brodwörscht” - auf hochdeutsch: Bier, Burg, und Bratwürste. 

Auf was dürft ihr euch freuen? 

“Bier”: Abwechslungsreiche Aktivitäten und Adventure Labs im Museumskomplex der Mönchshof Kulmbach. Es gibt hier viel Spannendes zum Thema Bier, Brot und Gewürze zu entdecken! Neben den Labs wird es auch möglich sein, Führungen und/oder Biertastings zu buchen. 

“Bratwurst”: Ein gemütlicher Biergarten mit fränkischen Spezialitäten!

“Burg”: Kulmbach ist eine Reise wert: Eine hübsche Altstadt und eine wunderschöne Aussicht von der Plassenburg warten auf euch. Auch in der Umgebung ist einiges geboten: Der Frankenwald mit zahlreichen Qualitäts-Wanderwegen und die UNESCO-Weltkulturerbestadt Bayreuth lohnen immer einen Besuch. 

"Bardy": Treffen und Feiern mit Geocachern aus Nah und Fern. Und nein, hier in Franken gibt es keine “P”s oder “T”s ;-)

• Der Ticketpreis beträgt 10€ pro Erwachsenem (6€ für Kinder 7-18 Jahre). Hierfür bekommt ihr ein Einlassbändchen und einen Token für die Bierprobe im Museum. Mit dem Bändchen habt ihr den ganzen Tag über freien Eintritt in den Museumskomplex - hier werden sich auch die Labs befinden - und unterstützt die Kosten für die Organisation. Um Warteschlangen am Eventtag zu vermeiden, empfehlen wir euch die Vorbestellung und, falls möglich, das Abholen der Bestellung beim Vorevent.

The geocachers meeting in the heart of Upper Franconia

It’s party time!

In 2025, Geocaching is celebrating its 25th birthday: May 3rd, 2000, the first geocache was hidden, and in September 2000 the website went online. And there's even more reason to celebrate: Our popular event series "Bier, Burg und Brodwörscht" - well known as "BBB" - is celebrating its 100th edition and its 20th anniversary. 

We warmly invite you to the big celebration in Kulmbach, the "secret capital of beer", as their marketing department calls the city. Here, on June 21, 2025, everything will honor the 3 “B”s: "Bier, Burg and Bratwurst”.

What can you look forward to? 

"Bier" (beer): Many activities and Adventure Labs in the Mönchshof Kulmbach museum complex. There are lots of exciting things to discover about their three main topics beer, bread and spices! In addition to the labs, it will also be possible to book guided tours and/or beer tastings. 

"Bratwurst" (sausage): A cozy beer garden with Franconian specialties!

"Burg" (castle): Kulmbach is worth a visit: a pretty old town and a wonderful view from the Plassenburg castle are waiting for you. There is also plenty to discover in the surroundings: The Franconian Forest is home to many quality hiking trails, and the UNESCO World Heritage city of Bayreuth is well worth a visit. 

"Bardy" (party): Meet and celebrate with geocachers from near and far. And no, “Bardy” is not a typo - here in Franconia we don’t like “P”s and “T”s ;-) .

• The ticket price is €10 per adult (€6 for children aged 7-18). For this you will receive an admission wristband and a token for the beer tasting in the museum. The wristband gives you free entry to the museum complex - where the labs will also be located - for the whole day and helps to cover the costs of the organisation. To avoid queues on the day of the event, we recommend that you book in advance and, if possible, collect your order at the pre-event.

Je čas na párty!

V roce 2025 slaví geocaching 25. narozeniny: první keš byla ukryta 3. května 2000 a webové stránky byly spuštěny v září 2000. A důvodů k oslavě je ještě více: naše oblíbená série eventů "Bier, Burg und Brodwörscht" - známější pod zkratkou "BBB" - slaví 100. opakování a 20. výročí svého vzniku. 

Srdečně vás zveme na velkou oslavu v Kulmbachu, "tajném hlavním městě piva", jak toto město nazývá jejich marketingové oddělení. Zde 21. června 2025 bude vše oslavovat 3 "B": "Bier, Burg a Bratwurst" – Pivo, hrad a klobásky.

Na co se můžete těšit?

"Bier" (pivo): V muzejním komplexu Mönchshof Kulmbach se bude konat mnoho aktivit a budou zde také labky. Čeká vás spousta zajímavostí o třech hlavních tématech - pivu, chlebu a koření! Kromě labkových etap bude možné si objednat také prohlídky s průvodcem a/nebo ochutnávky piva.

"Bratwurst" (klobása): Útulná pivní zahrádka s franckými specialitami!

"Burg" (hrad): Kulmbach stojí za návštěvu: čeká na vás pěkné staré město a nádherný výhled z hradu Plassenburg. Také v okolí je co objevovat: V okolí Franckého lesa se nachází mnoho kvalitních turistických tras a za návštěvu stojí i město Bayreuth, které je zapsáno na seznamu světového dědictví UNESCO.

"Bardy" (večírek): Setkejte se a oslavujte s geokačery z blízkého i vzdáleného okolí. A ne, "Bardy" není překlep - tady ve Frankách nemáme rádi "P" a "T" ;-)

Nel 2025, Geocaching festeggia il suo 25° compleanno: Il 3 maggio 2000 è stata nascosta la prima geocache, e in settembre 2000 il sito web è stato pubblicato. E c'è un motivo in più per festeggiare: La nostra amata serie di eventi "Bier, Burg und Brodwörscht", anche nota come "BBB", celebra la sua 100ª edizione e il suo 20° anniversario.

Siete invitati alla grande festa che si terrà a Kulmbach, la "capitale segreta della birra", come la chiama il loro ufficio marketing. Qui, il 21 giugno 2025, tutto sarà incentrato sulle 3 "B": "Bier, Burg e Bratwurst".

Cosa vi aspetta?

"Bier" (birra): Molte attività e Adventure Lab nel complesso museale Mönchshof Kulmbach. Ci sono molte cose interessanti da scoprire sui tre temi principali: birra, pane e spezie! Oltre ai Lab Cache, sarà possibile prenotare visite guidate e/o degustazioni di birra.

"Bratwurst” (salsiccia): Un'accogliente birreria all'aperto (Biergarten) con specialità culinarie della Franconia!

"Burg” (castello): Kulmbach è una graziosa cittadina, il bel centro storico e la splendida vista dal castello di Plassenburg vi aspettano. Anche nei dintorni c'è molto da scoprire: La Foresta della Franconia (Frankenwald) ospita numerosi sentieri escursionistici di qualità e la città di Bayreuth, patrimonio mondiale dell'UNESCO, merita una visita.

"Bardy" (party): Incontrare geocacher che provengono da vicino e lontano e festeggiare con loro. E no, "Bardy" non è un errore di battitura: qui in Franconia non amiamo le "P" e le "T" ;-) .
