South Station Generating Station used to be called a Dam,A whole community of homes, recreation, halls, and gentility existed down here. Explore the lovely grounds, find the foundations of lives past.
Cache is not at the posted coordinates. To find this letterbox cache, follow the fenceline from the parking lot towards the river. You may catch an excellent view of the dam as you go. Go all the way to the thicket of trees, but do not enter. Turn right, skirting the bush for about 12 paces. Turn left to find a small clearing, once part of an ornamental landscaped garden. Now, the stone walls are crumbling and the birches have fallen down. Gently examine the birch, and sign the log!
Please leave the cache well hidden, as this is a well used recreational area.
Be sure to take a swing on the nearby tree swing - Mr Tuba can swing on it, it is sturdy! (Yes, there is a waypoint)
i do not recommend bringiing a trailer down this road, the turnaround is very limited.
