Geocache Description:

Records exist for 368 species of birds on the Island — the Blue Jay (Cyanocitta cristata) was officially named the provincial bird in 1977.

This quick 2-stage multi spotlights two commonly encountered birds seen & heard along the Confederation Trail (C.T.). At the posted coordinates, you will find 2 information signs. Count and add the number of letters in the scientific name (genus & species) of the 2 birds (designate as “X”) and use “X” in the following equation to obtain the final cache coordinates:

N 46 21.(X + 375) W 063 33.(X + 528)
Checksum: N=21, W=32
