A new year - a new challenge!
Welcome to 2025! Happy New Year!
This is going to be an exciting milestone year in geocaching history. Even though it seems like we just celebrated the 20th anniversary of geocaching, in just a few months we will be celebrating its 25th anniversary.
As has become an annual New Year's tradition for Team Olio, welcome to this year's edition of our calendar challenge.
If you already qualify for this challenge, what better way to celebrate the start of the new year than by signing the log for a challenge that is based on the calendar? And if you don't qualify, then take this as the perfect opportunity to start a new year's resolution to complete this challenge and we'll look forward to seeing you logging this cache before the next January 1st.
In the past, we've focused our calendar challenges on criteria such as the most common cache types, cache sizes, or home location. But this year, we've turned our attention to another aspect of a cache.
There are those people who go out at all hours of the day and night to cache. Whether that's because they are on the hunt for FTFs (first to finds), or their schedule dictates when they cache, or they just enjoy caching at a specific time of day (or night), there are any number of reasons why people do it.
This challenge is for those people who look for caches at all hours of the day - 24/7, all year long.
The Challenge
To qualify for this challenge, you must have found a cache on all 365 days of the year with the 
Available 24/7 attribute.
The Requirements
Some more things about the challenge to be aware of:
- All cache types except adventure lab caches and benchmarks can be used for this challenge.
- Only the day and month matter for this challenge; the year is irrelevant.
- This is not a streak challenge in any way. The finds do not have to be sequential in any way. In other words, there is no requirement for this challenge to be completed in one year. This challenge can be completed over any number of years.
- Leap Day aka February 29th is not required for this challenge. It's considered a nice to have and is not a part of the mandatory 365 days of the year.
- In the past, it was possible to log the same cache multiple times. Those caches can only be used once for this challenge, only on the first day it was found.
- Past finds count. Any caches that you have found and have been archived or disabled after you have found them can be used for this challenge if it meets the criteria.
The fine print
CO reserves the right to make any changes to this challenge if any issues or ambiguities are discovered. CO will be fair but has the final say on any events, caches, finds, or logs that are questionable. CO reserves the right to delete any logs if problems are found.
Finding This Cache
Do NOT access this cache from Highway 2. Please use the nearby service road instead.
Please be aware the shoulder space along the service road near GZ is very limited.
Please remember to be respectful of the cache location. Be aware of how and where the cache is "attached" so that it can be put back in exactly the same way and in the same place for the next person(s) to enjoy.
Logging This Cache
As with any challenge caches, you are welcome to physically sign the log for this cache and log it as "Write Note" if you haven't met the challenge's requirements yet. Please bring your own pen(cil)/writing instrument to sign the log.

You can only log a "Found It" entry online after you've completed the challenge and signed the log. All non-qualifying "Found It" logs will be deleted without notice.
