Located at Evelyn Road, Carnegie Hall was opened in 1905 by American Lady Blanche Evans, wife of Sir S T Evans, on a site donated by Mrs Dorothy Coombe Tennant. Sir Samuel and Lady Blanche Evans were instrumental in obtaining a grant from the Carnegie Trust towards its construction.
Today, it still houses a modern library for books and computers plus rooms for hire to the community.
The cache is not at the published coordinates. To find the required numbers look for the war memorial in the grounds. The answers will be found on the side facing the road and are the lines of text below the cross:
