THE TRAIL
Park at the Lindy Overlook parking lot and trailhead. Considered an easy route, it takes an average of 15 minutes to complete the hike to the viewing platform (about 0.7 miles out-and-back). This is a very popular area for birding and hiking, so you'll likely encounter other people on the way. The trail is well traveled but has a moderate level of roots and rocks and is not handicap accessible. It can also be slippery and slightly muddy.
THE CACHE
Waiting for moguls to leave the area so you can locate the cache might take a while. But there is plenty to view while you wait. Binoculars, a snack and a drink will add to the visit. The cache is a medium size watertight container. It's not difficult to locate. For your safety and to protect the surrounding environment, stay on the trail and in the public viewing area. There is no need to leave the trail, search around the platform, or approach the cliff edges to find this cache. The seasonal changes of the view at this site make it perfect for posting pictures, so please do.
