Liebe Freunde des kühlen Nass, herzlich willkommen an der "Schwimmhalle am Rennsteig". Hier erwartet Euch ein kleiner Multi, thematisch und räumlich entfernen wir uns dann auch nicht von der Materie. In dieser Schwimmhalle lernte der Owner 1987 schwimmen, verbrachte später jede Menge Samstagvormittage mit seinem Bruder hier, und auch mit den Kumpels wurde hier genug Blösdinn getrieben. Einen Hallenverweis gab es aber nie. Noch heute werden kleine Kinder aus Neuhaus und Umgebung hier an das kühle Nass herangeführt und lernen hier schwimmen - nur müssen die dabei nicht mehr so bekloppte Badekappen aufsetzen wie wir früher. (Was im übrigen der Tatsache geschuldet ist, dass frühere Filteranlagen für Schwimmbecken nicht so leistungsfähig waren, und mit Körperhaaren nicht besonders gut umgehen konnten.)
Begebt Euch zum Startpunkt welcher in den Wegpunkten angegeben ist. Beantwortet dann die Fragen und lauft dafür im Uhrzeigersinn um die Halle herum. Nachdem Ihr die letzte Frage beantwortet habt könnt Ihr die Koordinaten für das Final ausrechnen und Euch dann auf den Weg zu Dose und Logbuch machen. Ob ihr dabei dem Thema des Caches gemäß nasse Füße bekommt oder nicht, das hängt im wesentlichen von Eurer Fähigkeit ab um Pfützen herum zu manövrieren. Bereit? Alles klar, dann geht er jetzt los, der Badespaß am Rennsteig!
Zum Einstieg sollt Ihr einige Hintergrundinformationen zur Halle recherchieren. Bemüht zur Beantwortung der Frage gerne eine Informationsquelle Eurer Wahl. Die Stadtbibliothek ist gleich nebenan, oder vielleicht kann Euch jemand im Bürgerhaus helfen, und das Internet ist ja auch nicht weit.
- Findet heraus wann die Schwimmhalle eröffnet wurde, und merkt Euch die Quersumme des Jahres als A.
- Die Größe des Kinderbeckens der Halle in Quadratmeter soll B sein.
Begebt Euch nun zum Startpunkt der Runde um die Schwimmhalle, welcher in den Wegpunkten angegeben ist.
- Hier, am Start der Runde steht Ihr vor dem großen Fenster der Schwimmhalle. Zählt die Anzahl aller blau umrandeten Glaselemente und merkt Euch diese als C.
- Da jeder Schwimmbad- und Saunabereich geheizt und somit auch entlüftet werden muss, hat auch diese Schwimmhalle eine Anlage zur Klimatisierung. Schaut Euch um und notiert Euch die Anzahl der silbernen Abluftrohre als D.
Beginnt nun Euren Weg im Uhrzeigersinn um die Halle herum:
- Wie ein echter Neuhäuser dürft auch Ihr auf Pilzsuche gehen. E soll die Anzahl der außergewöhnlich großen Pilzexemplare an der Schwimmhalle sein.
Wenn Ihr sie gefunden habt, folgt dem leichten Anstieg in Richtung Halleneingang.
- Sucht die Hausnummer der Schwimmhalle und merkt Euch diese als F.
- Für G zählt Ihr nun noch die Anzahl der Stahlträger von denen das Vordach vor dem Eingang der Halle getragen wird.
- Begebt Euch abschließend zum Hintereingang der Halle und findet heraus wie viele Leuchten die Rollstuhlrampe erhellen können. Diese Zahl merkt Ihr Euch als H.
Nun, da Ihr alle Werte ermittelt habt, bringen Euch die folgenden Formeln zum Finale.
N = F * (G * H + B - G)
E = A * (C * D - E) - (D * H)
Behandelt die Dose bitte vorsichtig, und hängt sie am Ende wieder dorthin, wo ihr sie hergeholt habt. Ich hoffe sie bleibt in ihrer Form lange erhalten und erfreut kleine und große Geocacher, sowie Badefreunde allen Alters.
Dear friends of cool water, welcome to the "Schwimmhalle am Rennsteig". A small multi awaits you here, and we won't stray far from the subject matter in terms of theme and location. The owner learned to swim in this swimming pool in 1987, later spent many Saturday mornings here with his brother, and there was also plenty of fun here with his friends. But he was never expelled from the hall. Even today, young children from Neuhaus and the surrounding area are introduced to the cool water and learn to swim here - only they don't have to wear such crazy swimming caps as we used to. (Incidentally, this is due to the fact that earlier filter systems for swimming pools were not as efficient and were not particularly good at dealing with body hair).
Go to the starting point indicated in the waypoints. Then answer the questions and walk clockwise around the hall. After you have answered the last question, you can work out the coordinates for the final and then make your way to the box and logbook. Whether or not you get your feet wet in accordance with the theme of the cache depends largely on your ability to maneuver around puddles. Ready? All right, then off you go, the bathing fun on the Rennsteig!
To get started, you should research some background information about the hall. You are welcome to use a source of information of your choice to answer the question. The city library is right next door, or perhaps someone in the community center can help you, and the Internet is not far away either.
- Find out when the swimming pool was opened and note the sum of the digits of the year as A.
- The size of the children's pool in the hall in square meters is B.
Now go to the starting point of the lap around the indoor swimming pool, which is indicated in the waypoints.
- Here, at the start of the round, you are standing in front of the large window of the pool. Count the number of glass elements with a blue border and memorize them as C.
- As every swimming pool and sauna area has to be heated and therefore also ventilated, this indoor swimming pool also has an air conditioning system. Take a look around and note the number of silver exhaust air pipes as D.
Now start your way clockwise around the hall:
- Like a real Neuhaus citizen, you too can go mushroom hunting. E is the number of exceptionally large mushroom specimens at the indoor swimming pool.
Once you have found it, follow the slight ascent towards the hall entrance.
- Look for the house number of the indoor swimming pool and memorize it as F.
- For G, count the number of steel beams supporting the canopy in front of the entrance to the hall.
- Finally, go to the back entrance of the hall and find out how many lights can illuminate the wheelchair ramp. Remember this number as H.
Now that you have determined all the values, the following formulas will take you to the final.

Vážení přátelé chladné vody, vítejte ve „Schwimmhalle am Rennsteig“. Čeká vás zde malé multifunkční centrum a my se tématicky ani místně od tématu příliš neodchýlíme. Majitel se v tomto bazénu naučil plavat v roce 1987, později zde trávil mnoho sobotních dopolední se svým bratrem a s kamarády se zde také hodně bavil. Z haly ho ale nikdy nevyhodili. I dnes se zde malé děti z Neuhausu a okolí seznamují s chladnou vodou a učí se plavat – jen nemusí nosit takové bláznivé plavecké čepice jako my dříve. (Mimochodem, je to dáno tím, že dřívější filtrační systémy pro bazény nebyly tak účinné a nedokázaly si zvlášť poradit s ochlupením na těle).
Jděte k výchozímu bodu vyznačenému v bodech trasy. Poté odpovězte na otázky a projděte se po směru hodinových ručiček kolem haly. Po zodpovězení poslední otázky si můžete vypočítat souřadnice pro poslední otázku a poté se vydat ke skříni a deníku. To, zda se vám podaří dostat se do formy v souladu s tématem keše, závisí do značné míry na vaší schopnosti manévrovat kolem kaluží. Připraveni? Tak a teď vyrážíme na zábavu s koupáním na Rennsteigu!
Pro začátek byste si měli zjistit základní informace o bazénu. K zodpovězení otázky můžete použít zdroj informací dle vlastního výběru. Městská knihovna je hned vedle, nebo vám může pomoci někdo z komunitního centra a internet také není daleko.
- Zjistěte, kdy byl bazén otevřen, a poznamenejte si součet číslic roku jako A.
- Velikost dětského bazénu v hale v metrech čtverečních je B.
Nyní přejděte k výchozímu bodu okruhu kolem krytého bazénu, který je vyznačen v bodech trasy.
- Zde, na začátku kola, stojíte před velkým oknem bazénu. Spočítejte počet skleněných prvků s modrým okrajem a zapamatujte si je jako C.
- Protože každý bazén a sauna musí být vytápěná a tedy i větraná, má i tento krytý bazén klimatizaci. Rozhlédněte se a všimněte si počtu stříbrných trubek pro odvod vzduchu označených písmeny D.
Nyní začněte obcházet bazén ve směru hodinových ručiček:
- Jako opravdový občan Neuhausu se i vy můžete vydat na houby. E je počet mimořádně velkých exemplářů hub v krytém bazénu.
Jakmile ho najdete, pokračujte mírným stoupáním ke vchodu do haly.
- Vyhledejte číslo domu krytého bazénu a zapamatujte si ho jako F.
- Pro G spočítejte počet ocelových nosníků nesoucích stříšku před vchodem do haly.
- Nakonec jděte k zadnímu vchodu do haly a zjistěte, kolik světel dokáže osvětlit rampu pro invalidní vozíky. Toto číslo si zapamatujte jako H.
Nyní, když jste určili všechny hodnoty, vás k finální verzi dovedou následující vzorce.

S nádobou prosím zacházejte opatrně a vraťte ji tam, odkud jste ji vzali. Doufám, že vám dlouho vydrží v původní podobě a bude těšit mladé i staré geocachery a nadšence do koupání všech věkových kategorií.
