Geocache Description:

When I first started Geocaching LukeDukeWV had completed placing an entire month of geocaches at cemeteries in Lewis County. I enjoyed seeing all the placed he took me. So it's my turn. I had rabbit hunted this area when I was a kid extensively. They were building the new houses across the street down from the entrance then. I never paid attention to the cemetery then. Imagine our surprise when we walked out to it today. We got to see an eagle, and some turkey, and deer. We hope you enjoy the walk and we hope you show respect while gathering your info from the stones. Out of respect and possibly the law please no night caching. The cache is not inside the cemetery grounds. But you will have to find 2 stones to get the final.

First : Find the War of 1812 Veterans grave. The last 3 of North will be his Death year minus 1695

Second : Find  "Bud"  Clayton.  He has a unique stone. Once you fiind his stone divide 2319 by the number of cars on his stone to find the last 3 of West.

The final is a micro so bring your own writing utensil. And remember to have fun exploring and enjoying the journey.

Happy Caching.

P.S. I did not know in some states it was illegal to be in a graveyard after dark. For example in Ohio it is against the law.
