Geocache Description:

Wandering around with my grandson, I came across a small reserve that I found quite interesting.  As the park is small I have not included specific waypoints as you can easily find all the things referred to within a few metres of the path that dissects the reserve.

The reserve is gardened by locals, especially the Vigorous Vanderbilt Volunteers, and Friends of Vanderbilt reserve..  It is a passive reserve which means no ball games are permitted. Take a wander and see what you can find!

There is a cache placed nearby at S 43° 3A.BCD E 172° 3E.FGH.

A. There is a horizontal wooden bar on the fence near a stick man.  How many letters are in the third word on this bar?
B.  Across the park you will see a seat with a plaque on it.  How many letters in the surname of the person who is commemorated on the plaque?
C.  What is the 3rd number on the plaque?
D.  Back to the fence where you saw the bar.  You will see several framed pieces of writing. A Greek pathway. The first one is about a sunflower. How many letters in the sunflower's name?
E.  Number of paragraphs in the story about a king.
F.   The third Greek mythological person changed their form. How many examples are shown on the fence?
G.  Find the  "butterfly restaurant" sign. Subtract the number of letters in the food they eat (mentioned in the 3rd last line of the text) from the number of painted butterflies on the left of the sign.
H.  The  "butterfly restaurant" is a particular tree in this reserve.  How many letters in its name?

Checksum S=14 E=13

Please take care accessing and returning the cache.
