Un pò di storia...
La Muntà di Ratt è una caratteristica scalinata che collega via Mazzini alla più bassa via San Bartolomeo a Piacenza. Secondo la tradizione popolare, il suo nome è legato ai topi che risalivano la scalinata durante alluvioni e piene del fiume Po. Indipendentemente dall'origine del nome, la scalinata è suggestiva in tutte le stagioni. In cima alla scalinata è presente il monumento dedicato agli antifascisti piacentini che combatterono nella guerra di Spagna.

The Muntà di Ratt is a characteristic staircase that connects Via Mazzini to the lower Via San Bartolomeo in Piacenza. According to popular tradition, its name is linked to the mice that climbed the staircase during floods and high waters of the Po River. Regardless of the origin of the name, the staircase is charming in all seasons. At the top of the staircase, there is a monument dedicated to the anti-fascists from Piacenza who fought in the Spanish Civil War.
