WINDY ROAD, WINDY CACHE
(Please do not take the main item in the cache. It is NOT a trade or swag)
Our family has driven this road too many times to count. We prefer to take this route than other roads because the drive is fun and the views of the forest are just outstanding. It's so nice to be able to watch the forest change in seasons, various times of the day and various weather (snow, rain, etc.) just by driving through. We have nicknamed this road, "The Windy Road." (not to be confused with the short I pronounciation of that word!)
The Windy Road winds through the Watchung Reservation and there are tons of amazing caches throughout it. Most of them are hikes and off trail searches. They are super fun... but we wanted to put one as a park-n-grab so people can enjoy the beauty of "The Windy Road" and the woods, even if they are not setting out on the trails for the day.
"Windy Cache" is hidden under a geopile right to the side of a little area that you can see to walk up. The coords were very bouncy here for some reason so please use this hint and your geosense. Please replace it as found to keep it hidden from muggles and try to replace the log/baggie exactly in the thing you found it in. Please do not take the main item in the cache - it is NOT for trade or swag.
The White Trail crosses this parking area. There is a covered structure, some picnic tables and a portable bathroom at the "Sky Top Picnic Area" acorss the street.
Cache is BYOP - there is a small picture inside for the FTF - please do not take the actual item in the cache that is holding the log
