Geocache Description:

Williams is a quiet, cozy little town. A small town with a big hole in our back yard, the Grand Canyon. It is noted as being the last town on Rt 66 to be bypassed by Hwy 40. If your coming from the west you came up the hill from the Big Sky area of Yavapai County. If you are coming from the east you have already driven through lots of pines and the larger city of Flagstaff. When you go north of here on the 64, you will run right into the Big Hole in the Ground the "Grand Canyon". You have to go there - no pictures will do it justice - you just have to see it with your own eyes.

This spot is just to the south of the most west exit of the 40 (there are only 3 exits in Williams), close to a big beautiful hotel. We have lots of those here, along with plenty of resturants and places to expolre. Have fun and enjoy the outdoors while you are here. I love it here, this is my home. Take plenty of pictures, and know we try really hard to be a friendly, happy place.

Please put cache back the way you found it. No room for swag - and no pen. You will need to do a slight climb, so be careful. If I can do it (I'm 63), you can do it. I hope you enjoy your stay!
