This cache is part of the 2 Line 2 Block Walk (2L2BW) Series. Each of the caches in the series are located around 1.5 - 2.5 blocks from their respective stations with on average a 0.3 - 0.5mi walk round trip per cache. This series was inspired by a comment made by NWCats saying that it would be a neat idea to have a series of caches within two blocks of light rail stations. Spring District is an open-air below-grade station serving the Spring District neighborhood, a 36-acre transit-oriented development. This cache is located at Spring District Park, a 1.8-acre open space centered around a large grassy area and water feature.
