This cache is on Gamblesmire Lane, one of those ancient tracks, used for centuries, that links Kendal with Underbarrow. The Lake District National Park Authority describe it as a "Green Road”. Its an Unclassified Road and can be used by motor vehicles for recreational purposes. I've never seen a 4x4 on this lane but I have seen trail bikes and lots of mountain bikes, so keep a look out.
