Το Φρούριο του Αγίου Νικολάου είναι ιπποτικό μνημείο στη Ρόδο, σημαντικό οχυρό για την άμυνα της πόλης και των λιμανιών, που κτίστηκε από το Μεγάλο Μάγιστρο Zacosta γύρω στα 1464-67 στο μόλο του Μαντρακιού. Στη θέση του ως το 1460 υπήρχε μόνο η Εκκλησία του Αγίου Νικολάου. Από την πολιορκία του 1480 και το σεισμό του 1481υπέστη ζημιές και ανοικοδομήθηκε από τον Μ. D’ Aubusson, που την ενίσχυσε με το νέο ισχυρό συγκρότημα που το περιβάλλει. Από τα μέσα του 17«ου» αιώνα εγκαταστάθηκε στη στέγη του φάρος, λειτουργία που συνεχίζεται μέχρι σήμερα.
The Fortress of Agios Nikolaos is a knightly monument in Rhodes, an important fort for the defense of the city and the ports, built by the Grand Master Zacosta around 1464-67 on the pier of Mandraki. In its place until 1460 there was only the Church of Agios Nikolaos. From the siege of 1480 and the earthquake of 1481 it suffered damage and was rebuilt by M. D'Aubusson, who reinforced it with the new strong complex that surrounds it. From the middle of the 17th century it was installed on the roof of the lighthouse, a function that continues to this day.
