This cache is located at one of three trail entrances that lead you on to Mt. Baldy. This is the eastern most trail entrance, and is what I would call the side route. The main trail from this entrance goes along the side of the mountain, with not much elevation change, and a trail further along goes off the main trail and straight up to the top of the mountain. It's a very steep climb, trust me...
Mt. Baldy is an unmaintained recreational park, perfect for hiking, walking your dog, and of course Geocaching! However it is not recommended that you attempt to hike or find this cache at night, and it is prohibited to use motorized vehicles in the park. There's stunning views at the top just waiting for you to see. Enjoy the trails and the hide!
