Virgo Saleyards
Balaklava has a rich history. The Virgo Saleyards featured on this plinth was reported to be one of the oldest and most firmly established auctioneering houses in the north. The saleyards were located in the centre of town, on the site which later became a bank. For more information, read the sign on the plinth.
