Rodman Hall and it's property originally occupied almost 35 acres of land in the Western Hill part of St. Catharines.
The land was purchased by Thomas Rodman Merritt and Rodman Hall was built between 1857-1863.
The property remained in the possession of the Merritt family for more than a century, until the 1960's, when it was sold to the St. Catharines and District Arts Council, and used as an arts center.
In 2003, Rodman Hall was turned over to Brock University, where it ran classes and was used as an art gallery. It remained in their possession until 2016, when the cost of upkeep became too expensive.
Nino Donatelli bought the property for $3 million in 2020 and spent many years restoring the house to it's original design.Almost $3 million worth of restoration and updates were completed and it was put up for sale in January of 2024, with an asking price of $9.9 million.
The cache is not on Rodman Hall property but sits in the valley of the Twelve Mile Creek in it's shadow.
Have fun and happy caching!
