The Foyers Tour - Red Squirrel Trail

• Whilst growing up in this village and community these past 18 years, I wanted to start hiding geocaches to allow others to have the opportunity to explore the beauty, history and tranquility of Foyers and Loch Ness. My hope is to provide information and beautiful locations to tourists, bring pride and enjoyment to locals, and widen the geocaching community within Foyers!
• This geocache marks one of the starting points of the trail through gorgeous, remote Scottish woodland leading to the famous 'Falls of Foyers', with sceneic forest views.
• After a fifteen minute walk up the path, you can find the Waterfall cafe & Shop in Upper Foyers with access to a car park and toilet block, if you are heading out of the woods in the opposite direction, the path leads onto a track where you can access routes down to Lower Foyers, the campsite and of course access to great opportunities for spotting Nessie!
• Keep an eye out for red squirrels and Sika Deer throughout the woodland path!
