Here's the statue made by the artist Berto Marklund, 1979. It is made in bronze and the two horses stand and push their heads against each other. New research says that it is almost animal cruelty to leave horses alone, they are herd animals and do best together. The horses here are both missing a front leg and seem dependent on each other also physically, to keep their balance.

Tjurbergsparken is part of a green promenade through southern Södermalm. The adjacent Helgalund is a city quarter with great cultural values ​​in the form of a cohesive 20th-century architecture. Several blue marked buildings are right next to the park.
