Dorman Pond is a beautiful little spot west of Banks with a primitive trail along its...banks. I found a spot to add to the very limited inventory of Large size caches in Washington County. By my count, this will be just the 7th active Large cache in Wash Co. I placed this plastic bucket up on a hillside to hopefully avoid any flooding issues. You may have to battle a few thorns but it's mostly trail (careful not to slip!). I've included two trailheads as waypoints, and you can park at either. The longer hike is more scenic and has a larger area to park. The shorter hike gets you to within a couple hundred feet but there is room for one car only in a small pullout. Since the log is a Banks High School branded book, I decided to include a Banks HS metal coffee mug as a prize for the FTF. Enjoy! CONGRATS TO Mrs&Mrs pdx FOR A 10TH FTF ON ONE OF MY HIDES!!!
