Geocache Description:

The posted coordinates will bring you to a sports complex/park that contains the Columbia Memorial Space Center. Right in this front area, you can see a neat piece of space exploration history! Find this giant cone-shaped object, then find the sign in front of it, and use it to fill in these blanks:

A) This capsule is called "Apollo Boilerplate 1_".

B) This capsule was launched on May 1_, 1964.

C) This capsule reached an altitude of 2_,000 feet.

Now, look to your left, and spot the two large black benches right in front of the main entrance of the Space Center. Use the etched images on these benches to fill in these blanks:

D) "Apollo _ EVA In Earth Orbit"

E) "LR 7_ Engine On Navaho Booster"

F) "OV-103 Record Reuse 39 Flights 198_ - 2011"

The cache is hidden at: N 33° 55.EBA        W 118° 07.DCF

You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.

Parking should be plentiful. The final location is only a short walk, and hopefully away from the crowds of school kids on field trips and nurses on lunch breaks. The hours of the park are 6AM-10PM, and if you're looking to learn more about space, the center is open Tue - Sat 10AM-5PM. Good luck!
