Frilford, Garford and Marcham War Memorial has a three-stepped square base
surmounted by a skirted square-sectioned plinth, moulded bolster,
octagonal sectioned tapering column and apex-roofed Calvary cross.
Incised inscription on plinth faces. 6 o'clock face of Calvary has Crucifix
flanked by small reliefs of a soldier & a sailor.
12 o'clock face has a cross flanked by a fern & palm leaf.
The whole memorial stands on a two-tiered gravel-topped
platform within an enclosed stone walled garden area.
Please take care of small cachers and pets along here,
this road can be very busy at times with large trucks!
Just to the left of the entrance to the war memorial is a
wooden gate with a black and white maker's label
