This cache should only be attempted when the park is open (7 AM-11 PM).
Welcome to Greer City Park! Built in 2008 as part of a larger revitalization project, this park is an integral piece of downtown! This cache will take you near the fountains, which are a centerpiece of the park. While you visit, be sure to snap a couple pictures of yourself by the beautiful city hall, and take a walk down to the pond by the Cannon Centre, a former National Guard armory built in 1936!
Now, for the cache!
You will be looking for a small lock-n-lock container, hidden next to the smaller fountain. You will have to step off the sidewalk and crouch down in order to get to the cache, so wheelchair users may have a bit of trouble accessing it without assistance. The cache is not inside the fountain, do not look in there. It can get a bit busy here at times, especially during events, so make sure to be as stealthy as possible. Most importantly, make sure to respect the land, and have fun!!
