Geocache Description:

Hey Geocacher, yes you. Did you know Texas has a Geocaching Association? If not, please visit www.texasgeocachingassociation.com. Houston has a Geocaching Facebook page called Houston Area Geocachers. Check it out.

Now there's two fun things Texas Geocaching Association does. The first one is in March every year. It's called Texas Geocaching Challenge and Festival. The other is called Texas Geocaching Association Roundup. These events are held in different regions every year.

Here are some Geocaching Tips :

Phone a Friend ( PAF) When you are at GZ ( ground zero ) and still having trouble spotting the cache for whatever reason, bouncing coords, too much ground coverage, etc. You can call apon a Geo-Friend that has found the Cache fairly recent for an extra hint.

Going to Events is a great place to meet other Geocachers in your area for this reason.
