This Geocache was placed here in honor and in the memory of Christian Arabas. It was placed here on what would have been his 19th Birthday. We picked this spot because Christian and my children would go fishing here from time to time and we thought this would be a great place to put a Geocache, as a tribute to him. Geocaching was something that his family introduced to our family and we have been going Geocaching ever since.
Christian, my nephew as well as my children’s cousin, who is pictured on the inside cover of this box, was called home to live with his Heavenly Father and His angels after a tragic accident ended his time with us here on earth on July 13, 2019. Christian shared his spirit and humor with everyone he met. His contagious smile would light up a room. At 14, he was your typical teenager stretching his wings: He hated the mundane and ordinary. He loved anything fast pace. He had high hopes and big dreams for his future. Christian loved basketball, his friends, and fishing almost as much as eating Chipotle, Dominoes, wearing hoodies and baseball caps. Heaven on earth to Christian was spending time with his "bros", singing rap, jet skiing, cliff jumping, snowboarding, carnival hopping and surfing. His goofy faces, his smile, his laughter, his warm hugs, his fun personality and his big heart is something we greatly miss, but we feel his spirit among us. Enjoy today, tell those you know how much they mean to you and know that Christian is smiling!
