Geocache Description:

The cache is a micro attached to the back of a tree. Bring your own pen.

Pollinators such as bees, butterflies and hummingbirds are reportedly on the decline worldwide.  The National Park Service has identified ways to help the pollinators.  Some are:

1.  Plant native flowers.

2.  Place a shallow dish of water on your deck or window sill to help pollinators stay hydrated.

3.  Leave dead leaves and plant material in your garden and yard in the fall so that pollinators can have food and shelter during the winter.

4.  Limit the use of pesticides.

5.  Plant flowers of different shapes, sizes and colors.

6.  Nesting and sheltering sites are needed.  Potential sites include living and dead trees and brush piles.
