Description: Join us for a unique Geocaching event that combines adventure with environmental stewardship! Our EcoCache Cleanup is a CITO (Cache In, Trash Out) event aimed at making a positive impact on the environment while enjoying the thrill of geocaching.
What to Bring:
- Comfortable outdoor attire suitable for the weather conditions.
- Sturdy shoes or boots for walking/hiking.
- Water bottle to stay hydrated.
- Sunscreen and insect repellent.
- Litter pickers or some gloves
Important Notes:
- This event is family-friendly and open to all ages and skill levels.
- Please respect private property and adhere to all local regulations while geocaching.
- In the spirit of sustainability, we encourage carpooling or the use of public transportation to reach the event location.
Let's come together as a community to enjoy the great outdoors, discover hidden treasures, and leave our environment cleaner than we found it! Join us for a rewarding day of geocaching and making a positive impact through our EcoCache Cleanup CITO event.
We will meet at the location on the event co ordinates and spend an hour tidying the church and surrounding area of the parish.
We can supply bin bags for any rubbish but please bring your own gloves and or litter pickers.
This CITO is also part of the GAGB CITO week.

This is just one of the many events to be be held across the UK, Ireland, Isle of Man and Channel Islands as part of the GAGB CITO Week.
The Geocaching Association of Great Britain
The Geocaching Association of Great Britain (GAGB). The Association was established in 2003 to provide a national geocaching organisation and serve as a UK point of contact for geocachers, landowners, the media and others with an interest in geocaching.
As part of its 10th anniversary, it was decided to hold a CITO weekend in May which has now became an annual event. This later evolved into a full CITO Week, with the first one being held in September 2019. It would be great to see more of these icons pop up across the country and for other members to hold their own events where it is not feasible to attend one that a committee member has organised.
