Not every geocache at Harrington Beach State Park requires a long hike along a trail! This roadside cache is only about 15 feet from the road. It is interesting to note that the gravel road, named Sauk Trail Road, divides the park into two halves - an east half featuring the beach along Lake Michigan, and a slightly larger west half featuring campgrounds, the ranger station, and Puckett's Pond. And of the 10 named trails that are located in the park, none are named Sauk Trail!
Parking is available roadside and it's a quick walk to the cache.
We hope you enjoy your time at Harrington Beach State Park!
