Not every geocache at Harrington Beach State Park requires a long hike along a trail! This cache is located only about 100 feet from the road. Parking is available roadside just west of the cache.
Anyone who follows the Marvel Cinematic Movie Universe knows Groot! Originally appearing in a Marvel comic book in 1960 and reintroduced as heroic in 2006, Groot is a loveable tree-like creature that travels with adventurer/former mercenary Rocket Raccoon. Groot's ability to instantly grow in size and his incredible strength make him very useful to the much smaller Rocket during their adventures, and the two have grown to be inseparable best friends over the years. Eventually Groot, along with Rocket, joined up with the superhero team Guardians of the Galaxy. Being non-human, he is only able to utter one phrase: "I am Groot."

The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to the Ozaukee County station of the Wisconsin DNR. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resource managed lands require permission by means of a notification form.
