Geocache Description:

Introducing the "Australian Birds Power Trail" This car-friendly adventure in Wollongong invites hassle-free exploration. With strategically placed caches.

Australia's iconic black and white magpie is a clever songbird. They charm with kookaburra-like calls and amaze with their ability to mimic everything from kookaburras to human speech. These social birds live in family groups, working together to defend territory, raise young, and find food. Intelligent magpies even use tools! Omnivores, they enjoy a varied diet of insects, worms, fruit, and even small reptiles. While protective during breeding season, these beautiful birds are generally beneficial and a welcome sight in Australian backyards and parks.
