A Kökörcsin Ház a Duna-Ipoly Nemzeti Park helyi környezeti nevelési és ökoturisztikai központja. Változatos tematikájú szakvezetéses túrákat, iskolai csoportok, egyesületek és egyéb csoportok számára pedig egyéb megrendelhető foglalkozásokat is kínálunk a természetvédelmi oltalom alatt álló egykori katonai gyakorlótéren és tágabb környezetében.

The Kökörcsin House forest school is located next to Strázsa-hegy, which is a unique habitat for many rare and protected species. Take a guided tour to the look-out tower at the top of the hill.

Az 1,5-2 km-es körtúra a Strázsa-hegy északi oldalán visz föl a kevésbé meredekebb földúton a toronyhoz és a déli oldalán hoz le a parkolóba a lépcsősoron. 
The 1.5-2 km round trip takes you up the north side of Strázsa Hill on the less steep dirt road to the tower and on the south side brings you down to the parking lot via the flight of stairs.

A Strázsa-hegy a Pilis és az egész nemzeti park nyugati peremén áll. A terület több mint száz évig katonai lőtérként funkcionált, ennek köszönhetően szinte érintetlenül megőrizte természeti értékeit. A tanösvény szabadon látogatható, azonban a kiállítás és a kilátó torony megtekintésére a szakvezetett túrákon van lehetőség. A túrán résztvevők először a Kökörcsin Ház emeletén berendezett kiállítást tekinthetik meg, mely bemutatja a terület élővilágát. Ezután érdemes végigjárni a 1200 m hosszú, 1 óra alatt bejárható kör vonalvezetésű tanösvényt és személyes élményeket gyűjteni a terepen. Ehhez nyújt segítséget az ingyenesen letölthető Duna-Ipoly mobilapplikáció, amely a hegy csúcsától a hegylábi tavakig bemutatja a terület legjellegzetesebb élőhelyeit. Szakavatott vezetéssel bejárva a környéket, felfedezhetjük a fokozottan védett terület évszakonként változó védett növényeit, mint a gyönyörű erdei szellőrózsát, a sömörös kosbort, a tavaszi héricset, a fekete és a leánykökörcsint, vagy az apró nőszirmot. Utunk során láthatunk számos szebbnél szebb nappali lepkefajt. A Kis- Strázsa hegy tetején álló kilátó szakvezetett túrák alkalmával látogatható, máskor zárva van. A hegytetőről gyönyörű panorámában gyönyörködhetünk.

Strázsa-hegy stands on the western edge of Pilis and the entire national park. The area functioned as a military shooting range for more than a hundred years, thanks to which it preserved its natural values almost intact. The educational trail can be visited freely, however, it is possible to see the exhibition and the lookout tower on guided tours. The participants of the tour can first see the exhibition on the floor of the Kökörcsin House, which presents the wildlife of the area. After that, it is worth walking along the 1200 m long circular educational trail that can be completed in 1 hour and collect personal experiences in the field. The free-to-download Duna-Ipoly mobile application, which presents the most characteristic habitats of the area from the top of the mountain to the lakes at the foot of the mountain, helps with this. Touring the area with an experienced guide, you can discover the protected plants of the highly protected area, which change according to the season, such as the beautiful wild rose, the smoëry kosbor, the spring herringbone, the black and maidenhair anemone, or the tiny female petal. During our journey, we can see many more beautiful diurnal butterfly species. The lookout point at the top of the Kis-Strázsa hill can be visited during guided tours, but is closed at other times. From the top of the hill, we can enjoy a beautiful panorama.
