Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Little Borough of Frankwell, the historic "free town" outside of the protection of Shrewsbury town walls.

NOTE: This cache is placed on MY house, it has a grey door. You are welcome to come anytime, obviously keep it stealthy and quiet at night. Also the camera is not in use, it is staged for this cache.

Whilst there is not much documented about the origins of this suburb, it is clear from the timber framing and architechture that it is OLD. In fact on your way to GZ, you will pass a crook frame building which is likely circa 15th century, and many of the plots facing Frankwell are long indicating burbage plots for market gardens. Also on the way to GZ look out for the remnants of the Darwin families potting shed, rising above the other brickwork in their old garden wall.

At the given coordinates you will find a sign with the geocache logo on it, something on this sign will lead you to the final cache location. Please do not take the sign with you, but do feel free to take a picture for reference.
