Wine Press, Great Barford, Bedfordshire.
This traditional Wine Press was given to Great Barford by ?Wöllstein in 1982. It was originally sited in the front garden of a local house but fell into disrepair over the years. The decision was made to restore the metalwork and replace the oak staves of the barrel. The Parish Council agreed to relocate the Wine Press at The Pound on the High Street. An attractive shelter has been constructed to protect the Wine Press from the weather.
