Paradisi village is next to "Diagoras" International Airport of Rhodes. After driving the narrow main road through the village, in the end of the long straight way you turn left and then right the steep uphill asphalt road, through a fragrant pine forest, leads you to the top of Paradisi hill. Watch out for the goats that are laying sometimes on the street! The road ends at a Radar installation and telecom antenna tower, where you can park on the street.
At 250m altitude you will have a wonderful panoramic view of the Airport of Rhodes, villages of Kramasti, Paradisi, Pastida, Maritsa, Damatria, Ialisos, the old airport (for military use only), Filerimos hill, the Turkish coast, even the island of Simi can be seen! Enjoy the view and the planes landing and taking off!
Attention: danger of unstable cliff edges!
After some meters downhill walk, you will find an old army camp (not in use any more) where you have to search for the geocache. If you are lucky, during the summer season you may find the beautiful Stellagama stellio lizard of Rhodes around there! Up to 30cm long, look like a dragon in grey color, usually can be seen on walls or stones under the sun, locals call them “Kurkutavlos”.
