Geocache Description:

Welcome to the 2024 Taconic Region NYS Park Summer Geocaching Challenge.  Please see RSPP 1 for details about the challenge.

About this series: Can you name the Hudson River Bridges?

The Kingston–Rhinecliff Bridge is a 7,793 foot long continuous under-deck truss toll bridge that carries NY 199 across the Hudson River connecting Ulster and Dutchess Counties. It opened in 1957 at a cost of $17.5 million.  In 2000 the state ceremonially renamed the bridge after George Clinton, New York's first Governor, fourth Vice President of the United States, and a resident of the Hudson Valley.   (Source:  NYSBA.ny.gov)
