Geocache Description:

Welcome to the 2024 Taconic Region NYS Park Summer Geocaching Challenge.  Please see RSPP 1 for details about the challenge.

About this series: Can you name the Hudson River Bridges?  The Tappan Zee Bridge is the southernmost bridge in the Taconic Region. It  is a twin cable-stayed twin bridge spanning the Tappan Zee section of the Hudson River, carrying the NYS Thruway between Rockland and Westchester counties.  It opened in 2017 at a cost of $3.9 billion.    The bridge is officially named the Governor Mario M. Cuomo Bridge after the former New York governor.  (Source:  Wikipedia)
